Constipation Type 1 is an isolated constipation event.

This individual is rarely constipated.

This individual will typically have a bowel movement every 1-2 days. They typically do not consider themselves constipated as they rarely experience acute symptoms.

These individuals frequently suffer bouts of constipation. They are typically familiar with over the counter preparations and often need laxatives to resolve the situation.

There is a high probability of anatomical abnormalities as far as the colon goes. These individuals describe life-long issues of constipation.

Colon inertia is not uncommon. Unassisted bowel movements are rare as this individual must intervene with either supplements, medications, or therapies in order to move.
